Government Auction Sukuk
The government will auction off four series of sukuk tomorrow, Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Four series auctioned sukuk has a tenor of five to 20 years. In a press release, Ministry of Finance will auction off a series of sukuk IFR0003 in return 9.25 percent coupon, IFR0005 (9 percent), IFR0006 (fixed rate), and IFR0007 (10.25 percent) to meet part of the budget financing targets in 2010. In this auction government sukuk have an indicative target of Rp 1 trillion. For maturity, IFR0003 on September 15, 2015, IFR0005 on January 15, 2017, IFR0006 on March 15, 2030, and IFR0007 on January 15, 2025.
Auction opened tomorrow, at 10:00 am and closed at 12.00 am, while the auction results will be announced on the same day after at 15:30 pm. Settlement SBSN IFR0003 series, IFR0005, IFR0006, and IFR0007 will be held on April 1, 2010. Publishing SBSN this auction by using the underlying assets of the State Property (BMN) who have obtained approval of the DPR on August 31, 2009, and has met the requirements as stipulated in Article 2, paragraph 3 Regulation of the Minister of Finance Number 04 / PMK.8/2009 of Securities Asset Management State Sharia Comes From The State Property.
SBSN IFR0003 series, IFR0005, IFR0006, and will be published IFR0007 using akad / Ijara Sale & Lease Back / which has a Declaration of Conformity from the Islamic Sharia Council of the National Council of Ulama Indonesia (DSN-MUI) Number B-373/DSN- MUI/X/2009 dated October 20, 2009.

1I hope these same folks who spurn muslims without knowing them don’t claim to be Christian too….. Their attitude is anything but Christian.So much fear and anger preached to control votes and enact agendas leads to a populace that is paranoid and hostile (xenophobic). Great – that’s what happened during WWII when we locked up US Citizens who had Japanese ancestry.People who fear are the most volatile, and the least likely to think before they act….
